Eventually ISO   was adopted suitable option.
  4. Reason for Use – Global adoption of ISO 9001 may be attributable to number of factors. In the early days ISO 9001 requirements were intended by procuring organizations. This helps in reducing “Supplier Development” by establishing basic requirements for suppliers to assure product quality. ISO 9001 requirements could be tailored   to meet specific contractual situations depending upon complexity of products, business types and risk to the producer.
